Home here, any hour
Apopka is where we start the day. That matters most at 2 AM, when a supply line lets go or the water heater gives out. Being close means we can get drying started sooner, and in Florida the first day counts.
Wet drywall and carpet pad rarely dry on their own in our humidity. Mold can begin growing within 24 to 48 hours, so the sooner the water is out and the air is dry, the less has to be torn out.
Older block homes and newer subdivisions
Apopka has both. Closer to the older part of town you'll find concrete block homes that have been through decades of storms, with older plumbing and roofs to match. Out toward the newer subdivisions, homes are often two stories, with laundry rooms and air handlers upstairs.
Both usually sit on concrete slabs. Water spreads under flooring and climbs into baseboards and drywall. In a two-story home, an upstairs leak shows up in the ceiling below, and the insulation above that ceiling holds water like a sponge. We measure both floors before we decide anything.
Lake Apopka, the springs and storm rain
Lake Apopka sits on the edge of the city, and the Wekiwa Springs area runs along the other side. Summer storms and tropical systems can drop heavy rain in a short time, and low yards and streets can hold water. When rain comes in through a roof or rises at the door, see our storm and flood cleanup page.
Homes, nurseries and businesses
Apopka has a lot of commercial space alongside its homes, from offices and shops to greenhouses and nurseries. We work with business owners too. We try to keep the work area contained so the rest of the building can keep running where it's safe to.
Every job ends with moisture readings and photos for your records. We work with all insurance companies and document everything your adjuster needs: photos, moisture readings and a detailed, itemized estimate.
